Some problems need more than a standard treatment. These services are also available across Swindon:
Swindon’s position on the M4 makes it home to food producers, warehouses and distribution sites. For food factories with BRC or SALSA accreditation, pest control isn’t a box to tick once a year. Auditors expect a documented programme: a site plan showing every monitoring point, regular inspections, records of every visit and finding, trend reports over time, and clear corrective actions when something is spotted. A missing record can be as much of a problem at audit as a missing rat bait.
That higher level of service is something we’re trained to provide, and not every pest control company can. We already look after BRC-accredited food sites, so we understand what your auditor will ask for and make sure the paperwork is ready before they arrive.
Cockroaches and bed bugs are two of the most common problems we’re called to in Swindon, usually in flats, shared houses and rented homes, where they can spread between properties through walls, pipework and shared spaces.
They’re also two of the hardest pests to clear, and it’s better to be honest about that from the start. Cockroach treatments rely on the insects taking bait, and in a kitchen where there’s grease and food build-up everywhere, they have plenty to eat besides the bait. Bed bugs hide in the tightest gaps in beds, furniture and skirting boards, and their eggs can hatch after the first treatment. Both pests almost always need more than one visit, and good preparation between visits makes the biggest difference.
That’s why we plan cockroach and bed bug jobs with landlords, letting agents and tenants together: agreeing the number of visits up front, explaining exactly how to prepare, and making sure everyone knows what’s needed for the treatment to work.
Business parks, warehouses, loading bays and bin stores give rats plenty of food and shelter. On busy commercial sites, a few rats can quickly become a risk to stock, hygiene ratings and audits. Regular monitoring, proofing and drain surveys catch problems early, before they reach the warehouse floor.
Large flat roofs on Swindon’s retail and industrial buildings attract gulls, especially in the nesting season. Gulls are persistent, and the earlier they’re dealt with, the better: once they’ve settled and started nesting on a roof, they’re very hard to move. If you’re planning building work or have gulls starting to gather, talk to us early about falconry and bird proofing.
Much of our Swindon work is on the edge of town. We look after commercial sites in Highworth and South Marston under ongoing contracts, with regular scheduled visits. In the villages around Swindon, homes and farms see rats and mice moving in from the fields in autumn, wasps nesting in eaves in summer, and moles in lawns and paddocks.

Yes. We’re trained to service BRC and SALSA accredited sites and already look after BRC-accredited food producers, with regular visits, monitoring and full records for audits.
Yes. We work with landlords, letting agents and tenants to plan treatment, preparation and follow-up visits, so the problem is dealt with properly.
Clean kitchens thoroughly before and between visits, especially grease behind cookers, fridges and units, store food in sealed containers, and don’t use your own sprays, which can stop cockroaches taking the bait. We’ll give you a full preparation list before we start.
A documented pest control programme: a site plan of monitoring points, regular inspections, records of every visit, trend reports and corrective actions. We provide all of this as part of our service for accredited food sites.
It depends on the pest, the property and how many visits are needed. We give you a clear quote once we understand the problem.
